Data

Topography: NASA LRO LOLA laser altimetry. Global grid 64 px/deg (~474 m/px at the equator, 23040×11520); polar grids 80 m/px to 80° latitude (7600×7600 each). Sunlight / Earth visibility: horizon ray-tracing (72 azimuths, 240 km reach, curvature-corrected) on a 400 m grid. Routes: Dijkstra on slope-penalised cost grids (global 7.5 km cells, polar 400 m cells).
